This is the switchboard number for the Dept. of Treasury, we recommend you call and ask if it is true that Sec. Paulson has died. When we called one person denied that the Sec. was dead but was not willing to be quoted.

If the word around the campfire is true, it will be announced in the next day or so that Sec. Paulson died of a “heart attack”, yeah bullets will do that!

Flood their phones! When we got through we were told that anyone who could comment, the Deputy Sec., etc. was “in meetings”. We left an email address and will report on whether we get a response. We did not leave a phone number when asked.

We recommend referring to yourself as a blogger or reporter for something, College paper, local paper, etc. and just ask for an official response to the story. The last person we spoke with said they had only received “a couple of calls” on this story.  If you make the call, please report back in a comment on this story about what was said.

WASHINGTON, Jan 2 (Reuters) – The U.S. Justice Department said on Wednesday it had launched a criminal investigation into the CIA’s destruction of videotapes depicting the harsh interrogation of terrorism suspects.

“There is a basis for initiating a criminal investigation of this matter, and I have taken steps to begin that investigation,” Attorney General Michael Mukasey said in a statement issued by the department.

The CIA last month disclosed that it had destroyed in 2005 hundreds of hours of tapes from the interrogations of two al Qaeda suspects, prompting an outcry from Democrats, human rights activists and some legal experts.

The interrogations, which took place in 2002, were believed to have included a form of simulated drowning known as waterboarding, condemned internationally as torture. Read the rest of this entry »

Ron PaulIn the first ten days of its voyage, the Ron Paul blimp generated more than $500,000 in publicity for the presidential candidate, an astounding success. However, as successful as the blimp idea is, there is a drawback: non-rigid airships are subject to weather conditions. “Our initial attempts to go north resulted in a fair amount of down time due to weather conditions. This affected the total amount of publicity and advertising value we could generate,” notes the Ron Paul Blimp website. “By heading south we intend to tap into professional sporting events, heavily populated shorelines, celebrity appearances, key political events and more.”

Enter the Ron Paul Air Corps.

Ted Anderson, owner of the Genesis Communications Network, came up with the idea of using aircraft to get the Ron Paul message out to the public by way of banner towing. “In the weeks ahead, the Ron Paul Air Corps plans to put a hundred or more banner flights above American cities to get the message about Ron Paul out,” explains the Ron Paul Air Corps website. “By the end of January, we plan to have 50 flights take to the air. You can buy as much ad time as you like. Flight time will be determined based upon the collective whole. The flying billboard advertisements will continue as sponsorship lasts.”

Please do your part and pledge your sponsorship to this unique and invaluable idea. Go the Ron Paul Air Corps website now and get involved: http://www.ronpaulaircorps.com

I can’t believe I actually made the mistake of voting for this guy. But then, all of us are entitled to a mistake or two.

From Politico: “Ralph Nader unleashed on Hillary Rodham Clinton Monday — criticizing her for being soft on defense spending and a chum of big business — and expressed his strong support for John Edwards.”

That is, for the CFR’s candidate, as Edwards is their darling. I don’t know if Nader is unaware of this. No, he is really too smart to be that brain dead. Obviously, Ralph Nader is a shill for the New World Order. It figures.

In an 11th hour effort to encourage liberal Iowans to “recognize” Edwards by “giving him a victory,” the activist and former presidential contender said in an interview that Clinton will “pander to corporate interest groups” if elected.

Nader specifically accused Clinton of failing to challenge military spending because “she is a woman who doesn’t want to be labeled as soft on defense and she doesn’t want to be shown as taking on big business.”

Sure, Ralph. And Edwards will dismantle the military-intelligence network and send the corporate death merchants a-running for shelter.

And there is a bridge in Brooklyn and it is for sale, too.

Nader, a four-time presidential candidate, called Edwards a Democratic “glimmer of hope.” He has long criticized Democrats as indistinguishable from Republicans, chiding both parties as slaves to corporate financing and interests.

It was Nader who famously — or infamously to many Democrats — siphoned off enough liberal votes from Al Gore in 2000 to hand New Hampshire and Florida, and as a result, the presidency, to George W. Bush. Since 2004, however, Nader has been increasingly controversial within the political left. He was booed at a national conference of progressives earlier this year.

Is the CFR a “glimmer of hope”?

It is if you are a fan of one-world government, as Nader apparently is. Does Ralph believe the machinations of the Rockefeller Foundation and Carnegie Foundation are in the best interest of the American people?

“The CFR is the American Branch of a society which originated in England, and which believes that national boundaries should be obliterated, and a one-world rule established,” explained the late CFR historian Carroll Quigley, who served as Bill Clinton’s mentor. “The most powerful clique in these elitist groups have one objective in common — they want to bring about the surrender of the sovereignty of the national independence of the United States. A second clique of international members in the CFR comprises the Wall Street international bankers and their key agents. Primarily, they want the world banking monopoly from whatever power ends up in the control of global government,” declared Rear Admiral Chester Ward, a former member of the CFR.

But let’s be fair — John Edwards is not a member of the CFR. He only hangs out with them. Earlier this year he delivered a speech to the CFR faithful and warmed the cockles of their hearts. He co-chaired a CFR task force with Jack Kemp. John Edwards is a consummate insider and he will deliver our sovereignty to the globalists on a silver platter.

So will Ralph Nader.

Henry M. Paulson, the Secretary of the United States Treasury, died today from gunshot wounds suffered as described in this report. The State Department have confirmed this to sources in touch with this service. We do not know, and it may never be known, whether Paulson was shot dead ‘in the course of duty’ given that he had continually committed gross treason in time of war and had repeatedly (we are informed) been warned of the consequences if he did not cease and desist.

Christians are supposed to pray for their enemies, so a fervent prayer for Paulson and his family is in order right now given the terrible state of affairs that arose due to this man’s intransigence. It should be added, in the interests of justice, that although Paulson committed the financial crimes described in these reports with great arrogance, it is also the case that he did these things at the urging of and in collusion with the Bush Crime Family, as every informed observer is well aware. For the last several years, HPV vaccines have been marketed to the public and mandated in compulsory injections for young girls in several states based on the idea that they prevent cervical cancer. Now, NewsTarget has obtained documents from the FDA and other sources (see below) which reveal that the FDA has been well aware for several years that Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) has no direct link to cervical cancer.

NewsTarget has also learned that HPV vaccines have been proven to be flatly worthless in clearing the HPV virus from women who have already been exposed to HPV (which includes most sexually active women), calling into question the scientific justification of mandatory “vaccinate everyone” policies.

Furthermore, this story reveals evidence that the vaccine currently being administered for HPV — Gardasil — may increase the risk of precancerous cervical lesions by an alarming 44.6 percent in some women. The vaccine, it turns out, may be far more dangerous to the health of women than doing nothing at all. Read the rest of this entry »

Ancient Indian Epics, especially the Mahabharata, document apparent pre-historic nuclear devastation and destruction, that is being verified by diverse scholars.

“Then the Lord rained down fire and tar from heaven upon Sodom and Gomorrah, and utterly destroyed them….” Genesis 19:24.

My previous article in The Canadian , in which I reflected upon my book Worlds Before Our Own, provoked dozens of inquiries from readers. NAUDERO, Pakistan — The day she was assassinated last Thursday, Benazir Bhutto had planned to reveal new evidence alleging the involvement of Pakistan’s intelligence agencies in rigging the country’s upcoming elections, an aide said Monday.

Bhutto had been due to meet U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pa., and Rep. Patrick Kennedy, D-R.I., to hand over a report charging that the military Inter-Services Intelligence agency was planning to fix the polls in the favor of President Pervez Musharraf.

Safraz Khan Lashari, a member of the Pakistan People’s Party election monitoring unit, said the report was “very sensitive” and that the party wanted to initially share it with trusted American politicians rather than the Bush administration, which is seen here as strongly backing Musharraf.

“It was compiled from sources within the (intelligence) services who were working directly with Benazir Bhutto,” Lashari said, speaking Monday at Bhutto’s house in her ancestral village of Naudero, where her husband and children continued to mourn her death. Read the rest of this entry »

Benazir Bhutto killed in attack

Ms Bhutto – the first woman PM in an Islamic state – was leaving an election rally in Rawalpindi when a gunman shot her in the neck and set off a bomb.

At least 20 other people died in the attack and several more were injured.

President Pervez Musharraf has urged people to remain calm but angry protests have gripped some cities, with at least 11 deaths reported.

Security forces have been placed on a state of “red alert” nationwide.

There were no immediate claims of responsibility for the attack. Analysts believe Islamist militants to be the most likely group behind it.

Ms Bhutto, leader of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), had served as prime minister from 1988-1990 and 1993-1996, and had been campaigning ahead of elections due on 8 January.
It was the second suicide attack against her in recent months and came amid a wave of bombings targeting security and government officials.

Nawaz Sharif, also a former prime minister and a political rival, announced his Muslim League party would boycott the elections.

He called on President Musharraf to resign, saying free and fair elections were not possible under his rule.

The United Nations Security Council held an emergency session and later said it “unanimously condemned” the assassination.

Scene of grief

Ms Bhutto’s coffin was removed from hospital in Rawalpindi and has now arrived by plane in Sukkur in Sindh province for burial in her home town, Larkana.

UK foreign secretary
Her husband, Asif Ali Zardari, has arrived in Pakistan from Dubai to escort the coffin to its final resting-place.

The attack occurred close to an entrance gate of the city park where Ms Bhutto had been speaking.

Police confirmed reports Ms Bhutto had been shot in the neck and chest before the gunman blew himself up.

She died at 1816 (1316 GMT), said Wasif Ali Khan, a member of the PPP who was at hospital.

Some supporters at the hospital wept while others broke into anger, throwing stones at cars and breaking windows.

Protests erupted in other cities as news of the assassination spread, with reports of 11 deaths in the PPP’s heartland province of Sindh, including four in provincial capital, Karachi.

More than 100 cars were burned in Karachi, while cars and a train were reportedly set on fire in Hyderabad.

In other violence:

  • Police in Peshawar, in the north-west, used batons and tear gas to break up a rally by protesters chanting anti-Musharraf slogans
  • One man was killed in a “shoot-out” between police and protesters in Tando Allahyar, the mayor said
  • Unrest was also reported in Quetta, Multan and Shikarpur
  • ‘Security lapse’

Mr Musharraf has announced three days of national mourning. All schools, colleges, universities, banks and government offices will remain closed.

Mr Sharif said there had been a “serious lapse in security” by the government.

Earlier on Thursday, at least four people were killed ahead of an election rally Mr Sharif had been preparing to attend close to Rawalpindi.

Ms Bhutto’s death has plunged the PPP into confusion and raises questions about whether January elections will go ahead as planned, the BBC’s Barbara Plett in Islamabad says.

The killing was condemned by India, the US, the UK and others.

US President George W Bush telephoned Mr Musharraf for what the White House would only describe as a “brief” conversation on the situation.

Father led Pakistan before being executed in 1979
    Spent five years in prison
Served as PM from 1988-1990 and 1993-1996
Sacked twice by president on corruption charges
Formed alliance with rival ex-PM Nawaz Sharif in 2006
Ended self-imposed exile by returning to Pakistan in October
    Educated at Harvard and Oxford

Ms Bhutto returned from self-imposed exile in October after years out of Pakistan where she had faced corruption charges. Her return was the result of a power-sharing agreement with President Musharraf

He had granted an amnesty that covered the court cases she was facing.

But relations with Mr Musharraf soon broke down.

On the day of her arrival, she had led a motor cavalcade through the city of Karachi.

It was hit by a double suicide attack that left some 130 dead.

Rawalpindi, the nerve centre of Pakistan’s military, is seen as one of the country’s most secure cities.

Many analysts say attacks like those on Thursday show the creeping “Talebanisation” of Pakistan.

Radical Muslims calling for Islamic law, and fiercely opposed to the US, have become increasingly active in Pakistani politics in recent years, analysts say.

    THE ASSASSINATION OF BENAZIR BHUTTO

    1. Benazir Bhutto had addressed a rally of thousands of supporters in Rawalpindi’s Liaqat Bagh Park
    2. As her convoy was leaving the park via the rear gate onto Murree road, she was shot twice in the neck and chest
    3. The gunman then blew himself up killing at least 16 people
    4. Ms Bhutto was taken to Rawalpindi General Hospital, but was pronounced dead at 1816 local time.
