Attempt to “force a non-existent connection” via Petraeus Testimony called “abuse” to the memory of loved ones, lack of government accountability and secretive 9/11 reports also criticized

The decision to hold Iraq war commander Gen. David Petraeus’ testimony to the Congress on the sixth anniversary of 9/11 has been condemned by families of the victims of the attacks as another crude attempt by government officials to link the event to the war in Iraq despite the fact prior intelligence reports have dismissed any such notion.

Petraeus’ testimony, throughout which he has advocated a continuation of the so called surge in Iraq, has been running side by side all day on news networks with the 9/11 memorials and tributes taking place in New York.

The 9/11 family group September Eleventh Families for Peaceful Tomorrows has released a statement which slams the timing of the hearing:

“The timing of this testimony is another attempt by government officials to force a non-existent connection between the events of 9-11 and this administration’s disastrous policy of invasion and war in Iraq. The 9-11 Commission found there was no operational or cooperative relationship between Al Qaida and Iraq. It is widely understood today that this administration’s actions in Iraq have in fact created a terrorist sanctuary where none previously existed, at a cost of more American lives than were lost on 9-11, tens of thousands maimed and wounded, and over 100,000 Iraqi dead. Blogger apologizes for ill-informed faulty research after urging readers to give truthers the finger

A mainstream journalist who yesterday urged his readers to give 9/11 truth protesters in Seattle the finger has completely reversed his position, apologized to the protesters and promised to help get the word out on full disclosure of 9/11 truth.

In our article yesterday , we chastised Seattle Post-Intelligencer blogger Ron Schott for saying 9/11 truth activists were insulting the victims, heroes and family members of 9/11 when in fact many victims, first responders and family members now lead the 9/11 truth movement.

This prompted a barrage of comments on Schott’s blog which was initially removed from the website altogether.

However, yesterday evening Schott posted a retraction and an apology , stating that his “Generalization of the activists was harsh and unwarranted.”

“The posting of my blog was a spur of the moment decision that I now know was done without forethought and without proper research,” writes Schott. Read the rest of this entry »

9/11, Six Years Later

September 11, 2007

Contrary to the claims of President Bush, the United States is not only just as vulnerable to terrorist attacks as it was in 2001, it is more vulnerable. This is due directly to the blunders and negligence of the Bush administration.

For one thing, the U.S. borders and ports remain wide open. There has been no serious effort on behalf of the federal government to thwart the invasion (and that is exactly what it is) of illegal aliens across our southern border.

Not only has President Bush done nothing to secure our borders, he has just last week opened the door for Mexican trucks to come unimpeded across our southern border. These trucks will have free access to our entire country. Can one imagine the amount of drug trafficking, illegal aliens, and even potential terrorists that will be smuggled across our borders in these trucks? Plus, think of the safety concerns these drivers and trucks will bring to America’s highways.

In addition, the Bush administration has done nothing to slow the flow of legal immigration from countries that our own State Department identifies as “terrorist” nations. Virtually every Muslim country in the Middle East routinely sends students and professionals to the U.S. via student visas, work visas, etc. They even serve in America’s armed forces and in our security agencies. This is insane!

Yet, President Bush would have us believe that he is fighting a “war on terrorism” by invading Iraq, a country that had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11. However, the war in Iraq has done little to fight terrorism, and has done much to assist it.

Instead of invading a country with no ties to 9/11, we should have followed Ron Paul’s advice. Congress should have passed H.R. 3076, the September 11 Marque and Reprisal Act of 2001, and sent our forces on a specific and narrow mission to take out bin Laden and al-Qaeda.

According to Paul, “A letter of marque and reprisal is a constitutional tool specifically designed to give the president the authority to respond with appropriate force to those non-state actors who wage war against the United States while limiting his authority to only those responsible for the atrocities of that day. Such a limited authorization is consistent with the doctrine of just war and the practical aim of keeping Americans safe while minimizing the costs in blood and treasure of waging such an operation.” This is precisely what President Thomas Jefferson did when America’s ships were confronted with Barbary pirates on the high seas.

A few days following the attacks on 9/11, and drawing from our own history and Constitution, Congressman Paul proposed the following to his fellow members of Congress: Read the rest of this entry »

New Bin Laden is a Fake!

September 11, 2007

New video of Bin Laden hit the Internet and its definitely a fake! We presume that the real Bin Laden is already dead, probably died within the last 3 years, and this imposter is standing in to praise the works and terror attacks of the U.S. Intelligence-funded Al Qaeda network.

The rulers of darkness are pulling their veil of darkness over your eyes. Wake up and expose the secrecy, lies and falsehoods!

We have heard numerous reports from citizens in the Phoenix, Arizona area there is black military helicopters (not news or police helicopters) all across the Phoenix valley this morning on the anniversary of the tragic 9/11 attacks.

Has anyone else seen the notorious black birds hovering in the morning sky?

The CIA and Al-Qaeda Link

September 8, 2007

Al Qaeda is a creation and a tool of our own CIA. The CIA through the Pakistani Intelligence Bureau called the ISI funds it. The facts are that we wired $100,000.00 to ISI that has links to al Qaeda . In late September 2001 there was an FBI source that published a report that determined that the FBI and CIA were linked to the ISI. General Ahmad, the head of the Pakistani ISI wired $100,000 to al Qaeda, in fact, to Muhammad Atta, the leader of the group that staged the 9/11 attacks. This was in the Summer of 2001. This was in a press report that was covered by the MSM, and talked about the ‘money man’ that financed and supported the 9/11 hijackers. This General Ahmed was in Washington when the attacks on 9/11 occurred. He met with George Tenent, Richard Armitage and Senator Joe Biden.

America is Ready to Nuke Iran

September 7, 2007

Why the hubbub over a B-52 taking off from a B-52 base in Minot, North Dakota and subsequently landing at a B-52 base in Barksdale, Louisiana?

That’s like getting excited if you see a postal worker in uniform walking out of a post office. And how does someone watching a B-52 land identify the cruise missiles as nukes? It just does not make sense.

So I called a old friend and retired B-52 pilot and asked him. What he told me offers one compelling case of circumstantial evidence. My buddy, let’s call him Jack D. Ripper, reminded me that the only times you put weapons on a plane is when they are on alert or if you are tasked to move the weapons to a specific site.

Then he told me something I had not heard before.

Barksdale Air Force Base is being used as a jumping off point for Middle East operations. Gee, why would we want cruise missile nukes at Barksdale Air Force Base. Can’t imagine we would need to use them in Iraq. Why would we want to preposition nuclear weapons at a base conducting Middle East operations?

His final point was to observe that someone on the inside obviously leaked the info that the planes were carrying nukes. A B-52 landing at Barksdale is a non-event. A B-52 landing with nukes. That is something else.

Now maybe there is an innocent explanation for this? I can’t think of one. What is certain is that the pilots of this plane did not just make a last minute decision to strap on some nukes and take them for a joy ride. We need some tough questions and clear answers. What the hell is going on? Did someone at Barksdale try to indirectly warn the American people that the Bush Administration is staging nukes for Iran? I don’t know, but it is a question worth asking.

German police and authorities have arrested anywhere from 3 to 8 terrorists (depending which news report you read) today in a plot to destroy a U.S. military base in Germany in a massive bombing.

At RESIST/REVOLT, we are little taken back by this event. We have been covering the possible false flag attacks on U.S. soil for the past few weeks now. We, along with many others, believe a new terrorist attack will happen sometime in the next few months within the borders of our country.

We believe this announcement of a potential terrorist attack is the New World Order’s smoke and mirror trick of diverting your attention from U.S. soil to a foreign country. They need to get the American consciousness off our country and unto another one. When we let our guard down, that’s when they will blow the bomb.

Let’s not keep our guard down and spread the message a false flag is coming.

Nuclear War-fear: Annihilate Tehran’s military in 3 days

The Pentagon has formulated a “three-day blitz” plan to annihilate Iran’s military that targets 1,200 sites, including Tehran’s nuclear facilities, in order to render its military incapable of conducting offensive, defensive or retaliatory missions.

According to the London Sunday Times, citing Alexis Debat, director of terrorism and national security at the Nixon Center, the Pentagon has rejected a strategy of “pinprick strikes” against Iran’s nuclear facilities.

“They’re about taking out the entire Iranian military,” Debat said.

Despite a report last week by the International Atomic Energy Agency of “significant” cooperation by Iran over its nuclear program, Washington sees only continued stalling by the Islamic regime, reports the Times.

President Bush increased his rhetoric against Iran’s nuclear program last week, saying Tehran had put the Mideast “under the shadow of a nuclear holocaust” and indicated action would be taken against the program “before it is too late.”

According to a Times source close to the Bush administration, the president’s recent statements were meant as “a message to a number of audiences” – Iran and the U.N. Security Council.

“A number of nuclear sites have not even been visited by the IAEA,” said Alireza Jafarzadeh, a spokesman for the National Council of Resistance of Iran. “They’re giving a clean bill of health to a regime that is known to have practiced deception.”

Revelation of a plan for a three-day blitz to destroy Iran’s fighting ability indicates the administration leans toward the use of rapid, overwhelming force if the military option is used.

“Whether you go for pinprick strikes or all-out military action, the reaction from the Iranians will be the same,” Debat said. Massive use of force was, he said, a “very legitimate strategic calculus.”

Why do the Feds want to restrict some volunteers from helping at the next disaster? When will the next national disaster happen?

Retiree Gene O’Brien hurried to the World Trade Center site after Sept. 11, 2001, as a volunteer helping to shuttle supplies to police and fire workers. Some days, his only ID to get into the disaster site was a tattoo on his forearm.

“A couple times I showed them my Marine tattoo, and they said go ahead,” recalled O’Brien, adding that he and other volunteers also came up with their own makeshift identification cards.

“We didn’t forge anything, we just made them up with our own pictures and at one point we copied a UPC code off a Pepsi can and they were as good as gold,” said the Scarsdale resident.

It might not be so easy the next time disaster strikes.

In an effort to provide better control and coordination, the federal government is launching an ambitious ID program for rescue workers to keep everyday people from swarming to a disaster scene. A prototype of the new first responder identification card is already being issued to fire and police personnel in the Washington, D.C., area.

Proponents say the system will get professionals on scene quicker and keep untrained volunteers from making tough work more difficult.

But they also know it is a touchy subject, particularly for those devoted to helping in moments of crisis.

“Wow, how in the world do we say this without love and respect in our hearts?” said deputy assistant U.S. Fire Administrator Charlie Dickinson.

“Everybody wants to come to the fight, so to speak, and no one wants to step back and say ‘No, I can’t do this.’ The final coup de grace was the World Trade Center. Hundreds came that were never asked,” Dickinson said. “Good intentions, good hearts, and it was extremely difficult for the fire department and the other departments to deal with them.”

The Federal Emergency Management Agency came up with the idea after the World Trade Center attack and Hurricane Katrina in 2005, when countless Americans rushed to help unasked, undirected, and sometimes unwanted. Read the rest of this entry »
