What was the greatest failure of 2007? President Bush’s “surge” in Iraq? The decline in the value of the US dollar? Subprime mortgages? No. The greatest failure of 2007 was the newly sworn in Democratic Congress.
The American people’s attempt in November 2006 to rein in a rogue government, which has committed the US to costly military adventures while running roughshod over the US Constitution, failed. Replacing Republicans with Democrats in the House and Senate has made no difference.
The assault on the US Constitution by the Democratic Party is as determined as the assault by the Republicans. On October 23, 2007, the House passed a bill sponsored by California Democratic congresswoman Jane Harman, chairwoman of a Homeland Security subcommittee, that overturns the constitutionally guaranteed rights to free expression, association, and assembly.
The bill passed the House on a vote of 404-6. In the Senate the bill is sponsored by Maine Republican Susan Collins and apparently faces no meaningful opposition.
Harman’s bill is called the “Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act.” [ http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h110-1955 ] When HR 1955 becomes law, it will create a commission tasked with identifying extremist people, groups, and ideas. The commission will hold hearings around the country, taking testimony and compiling a list of dangerous people and beliefs. The bill will, in short, create massive terrorism in the United States. But the perpetrators of terrorism will not be Muslim terrorists; they will be government agents and fellow citizens. Read the rest of this entry »

The People’s Voice

Let US be perfectly clear on just one thing going into 2008: Congressman Ron Paul of the 14th District in Texas will NOT be allowed to win. Period – end of discussion!
I have previously written that Congressman Ron Paul is America’s last hope of restoring the constitutionally limited republican form of government envisioned by BOTH our Federalist and anti-Federalist Founding Fathers. And both Federalists and anti-Federalists abhorred cash-raising and lobby-dominated political parties that catered to pay-offs from big money. For it is the political parties and their supportive cash-bearing lobbies and big corporate benefactors that comprise The Establishment which has replaced the will of the people.
Ron Paul is the only candidate with not only a rock-solid political campaign platform to rescue and restore constitutionally limited government in the United States; he is the ONLY candidate offering such a vital platform! The informed and adamantly dedicated patriots of American constitutionality and the American tradition of noble leadership, as well as an exemplary national moral code that served US and the world so well as the desirable, perfected model of responsible government envied throughout the world, has been reduced to smoke and ashes by our political class harlots in both the White House and the Congress. They serve only The Establishment and its untold wealth. And as Congress is unable to impeach, and is unable to investigate the deliberate assault on the American people on 9/11, they are more than able and willing to pass “legislation” that unconstitutionally bans firearms ownership for war veterans and to launch investigations of drug improprieties in professional baseball.
Ask yourself, does this “legislation” serve the interests of “We the People,” or those of The Establishment? And recall the power elite’s ultimate motive: the creation of a New World Order by disestablishing national sovereignties and subjugating the world’s citizens to serfdom. The horrific and egregious violations of our nation’s rule of law by the Bush regime supported and protected by the Democratic Congress operating totally under the dictatorial control of a criminal vice president entrenches an “administration” seemingly run by deranged or mindless criminals; and upon closer scrutiny, it is obvious that this is precisely what it has become! It is pure madness to reverse Mankind’s progress towards individual freedom and world peace!
It has always been the United States that has served as the sovereign role model for all the nations of Earth to emulate. In fact, that was the collective hope of the Founders in creating this nation of limited government allowing unlimited freedom to live life to its fullest while promoting and protecting the fruits of our honest labor in utilizing private property to create both personal and national wealth. It was the means to lead the way forward to spread such individual freedom globally. We demonstrated that a republican form of government can endure, and that a government of, by and for the people, and affirming a peoples’ success at self governance, was viable if indeed unprecedented.
No greater assault upon both America and its founding hypothesis has ever been so horrifically successful in this nation’s history than the unrelenting destructive legalistic barrage and well-planned and orchestrated follow-through than by these most destructive and far-reaching attacks from the present criminal Cheney-Bush dictatorship. The soviet regimes of Lenin and Stalin and every dictatorship in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics since have ever even come this close to achieving the threat we now face under Cheney-Bush. Even the so-called greatest monster in the world, Adolf Hitler and his Nazis, didn’t come anywhere this close to completely annihilating America’s principles and way of life. And in reality, it was Hitler who most aggressively stood up to the international bankers that offered the greatest militaristic challenge via his attempts to defeat New World Order communism. In ancient times, when an empire or nation defeated tribes or other nations in war or battle, the winning nation would punish the losers. The punishment would often occur in degrading and abusing the captured women, mandatory requirement to work, and taxing the working people a percentage of their income.
The first known system of taxation was in Ancient Egypt between 3000-2800 BC, the first dynasty of the Old Kingdom. Ancient records document how the Pharaoh would travel Egypt every 2 years, collecting a percentage of revenues from the people. Before this time in ancient civilization, human beings faced tribal governments with no enduring problem of taxation.
As an example of a high tax, medieval serfs of the Middle Ages paid 25% of their earnings to their landlords. In ancient Israel, any income over 10% was considered usury or taxable at a high interest. When the Romans took over and occupied the region of Judah and Israel, they began to punish the Jews through forced taxation. In the days of Jesus, there was hatred and disgust towards tax collectors, especially those of Jewish descent.
According to the Bible, Jesus, a mystical and prolific spiritual teacher, was charged for tax protesting crimes and inciting disobedience against the Roman oppressors and authorities. Luke 23:1-2 (NIV) explicitly states: Then the whole assembly rose and led him off to Pilate. And they began to accuse him, saying, “We have found this man subverting our nation. He opposes payment of taxes to Caesar and claims to be Christ, a king.”
Even the most famous spiritual teacher known to humanity blatantly opposed taxation.
Thousands of years later the American Revolution began. Contrary to popular belief, the Colonists’ did not revolt due to a tea tax. The British Monarchy was imposing a 3-5% income tax on the Colonists’ earnings. The revolution consisted of killing, maiming, property destruction and expensive battles for eight years, but the bitter relations lasted decades. All of this destruction because the British Monarchy would not cease their practices of taxation and slavery.
After the new union was set apart from Britain, there was no individual income tax for 124 years. Except for two brief periods, during 1862-1872 (an “income duty” to pay for the Civil War) and 1874-1875 (until the Supreme Court declared it unconstitutional), the United States thrived without a national income tax imposed on its population. Americans were free to earn, save, spend, build, invest, and donate their money as they wished, without limitation, nor fear of taxation. The United States was able to support itself through tariffs on imports and exports, excise taxes on liquor, and by issuing government bonds.
To this day, the federal government of the United States of America, continues to tax the income of hard-working citizens. All states within the union, except seven (including Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming), require a mandatory state income tax. In addition to the seven, there is two states (New Hampshire and Tennessee) that only tax dividends and earned interest on income. How is it possible for a state to not require taxes, but the federal government does? How would a state support itself and its population without the steady flow of taxes?
The United States of America has been committing unconstitutional crimes of taxation and enslavement against its growing population (currently, 303 million citizens) since 1913.
If national income taxes were abolished, not only in the United States, but elsewhere, a nation’s economy would thrive due to a free market of earning, spending, saving, and investing. Economic crisis would be a thing of the past while nations became more stable and free. A person would have more money in their pocket to do as they wanted. It would no longer be difficult to finanicially survive in this lifetime while feeding and sheltering one’s family, loved ones, and self.
How can a government take from you what they do not own or have properly earned themselves? When you earn money through your skills, abilities, and strengths, you are the rightful owner of that income until you decide to spend or give that money to another person, business, or organization. Through a monetary system, the energy exerted and time spent working is converted into an adequate finanicial substitution. The money we earn is money that belongs to us; no man or government has the right to take it.
Do not give in helplessly subjecting yourself and your innately human rights to a government’s whims and unnecessary spending. You are the people of your nation; in the highest reality, you are essentially a free human being.
Retain your freedom, defeat the system!

The latest National Intelligence Estimate has been greeted by a mixture of relief and alarm. As I have been saying all along, Iran indeed poses no quantifiable imminent nuclear threat to us or her neighbors. It is with much alarm, however, that we see the administration continue to ratchet up the war rhetoric as if nothing has changed.
Indeed nothing has changed from the administration’s perspective, as they have had this latest intelligence report for some time. Only this week has it been made known to the public. They want it both ways with Iran. On the one hand, they discredit the report entirely, despite it being one of the most comprehensive intelligence reports on the subject, with over 1,000 source notes in the document. On the other hand, when discrediting it fails, they claim that the timing of the abandonment of the weapons program, just as we were invading Iraq, means our pressure must have worked, so we must keep it up with a new round of even tougher sanctions. Russia and China are not buying this, apparently, and again we are finding ourselves on a lonely, tenuous platform on the world stage.
The truth is Iran is being asked to do the logically impossible feat of proving a negative. They are being presumed guilty until proven innocent because there is no evidence with which to indict them. There is still no evidence that Iran, a signatory of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, has ever violated the treaty’s terms – and the terms clearly state that Iran is allowed to pursue nuclear energy for peaceful civilian energy needs. The United States cannot unilaterally change the terms of the treaty, and it is unfair and unwise diplomatically to impose sanctions for no legitimate reason.
Are we to think that Iran hasn’t noticed the duplicitous treatment being received by so-called nuclear threats around the globe? If they have been paying attention, and I think they have, they would see that if countries do have a nuclear weapon, they tend to be left alone, or possibly get a subsidy, but if they do not gain such a weapon then we threaten them. Why wouldn’t they want to pursue a nuclear weapon if that is our current foreign policy? The fact remains, there is no evidence they actually have one, or could have one any time soon, even if they immediately resumed a weapons program.
Our badly misguided foreign policy has already driven this country’s economy to the brink of bankruptcy with one war based on misinformation. It is unthinkable that despite the lack of any evidence of a threat, some are still charging headstrong into yet another war in the Middle East when what we ought to be doing is coming home from Iraq, coming home from Korea, coming home from Germany, and defending our own soil. We do not need to be interfering in the internal affairs of other countries and waging war when honest trade, friendship, and diplomacy are the true paths to peace and prosperity.

According to Google Trends, if the election happened today, Ron Paul would be the next U.S. President. In a competition between Hillary Clinton, Ron Paul is the most searched for presidential candidate in the 2008 election. What CNN doesn’t realize, what the neocons don’t realize, is that Google is all-powerful, even beyond them. Google Trends accurately predicted the last U.S. President, George W. Bush. Will Ron Paul’s popularity continue to rise and spread? We hope so.

In my recent article “The Police State Is Right Here, Right Now” I included experiences of escalating intimidation on the part of law enforcement in the United States within recent months. I must confess that when I cite such incidents, I fear that in a few days or weeks, it will all go away, and everyone else, myself included, will begin to question the validity of the examples, breathing a heavy sigh of relief and rejoicing that the situation isn’t nearly as dire as I’m asserting it is.
This time, however, I have nothing to fear because since that article was posted, the ante of out-of-control law enforcement in America appears to have been upped with a rapidity that I could not have imagined just a few weeks ago.
Have we not all heard about the New York woman on her way to rehab who passed through the Phoenix airport, became distraught when she had just missed her flight, and was arrested for disorderly conduct by airport police? The suspect, Carol Ann Gotbaum, was handcuffed and then placed in a holding cell and left alone. According to police, when they returned, she was dead. At this writing, Gotbaum’s family and officials are awaiting the autopsy report-the “official” cause of death.
Just a few days later, again in Phoenix, a male suspect was handcuffed after an on-foot chase by police, and shortly after being handcuffed, according to police, he lost consciousness. He was then taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Read the rest of this entry »

Lately, we’ve been seeing banner signs popping up in major cities around the country with directives like Google Ron Paul and Youtube Ron Paul. What a powerful way to get U.S. citizens to interact and actively participate in the Ron Paul Revolution. If they care to see who Ron Paul is, then they will have to go online, use Google or Youtube to search for him.
It doesn’t give any information directly on the banner. We really wonder how powerful this type of grassroots banner campaign will be. Will people actually be prompted to go online to the Internet and plug Ron Paul’s name into search engines? Will they even know he is a candidate in the 2008 Presidential Elections?
Our initial assumptions are this: 1) those who use the Internet often will key in Ron Paul because its a short name, just because they curious and it involves a major service provider, 2) if you don’t know who Ron Paul is, it won’t prompt you to do anything and you’ll ignore the banner all together, and 3) you have heard of Ron Paul , so you Google or Youtube to find out more information about his campaign
Our recommendations to those putting these banners up is to mix in other messages with the directives. For example, place No More Taxes on the first line, second line place Ron Paul. If people are driving around the city, see that type of message, its powerful and its something Ron Paul would highly push for. Then you are driving around later, and you see a Google Ron Paul. On a psychological level, it instructs you to see who Ron Paul is because he obviously agrees with U.S. citizens not paying taxes.
We would love to have comments and opinions about this Ron Paul campaign.
